Image Factory Support

Convert images on your Mac, entirely offline. For help, email support@ancreative.ca.

Convert your first files

  1. Drop images into the file area, or click the circular plus button.
  2. Choose an output format per file, or apply one format to the batch.
  3. Expand options to adjust supported quality, resizing, transparency, and metadata settings.
  4. Click the repeat icon at the bottom right and choose an output folder.

Originals stay unchanged. Existing exports are protected by numbered filenames.

Supported formats

Image Factory uses macOS image decoders and encoders, with local helpers for WebP export and SVG rendering. Available formats depend on your macOS version, Mac architecture, and source file. The app lists the output formats available on your Mac. Images can also be exported as a one-page PDF.

Single-page PDFs, PDF-compatible Illustrator files, and static self-contained SVGs can be imported. Artwork is rasterized for export, including PDF output. EPS, PostScript, Illustrator files without PDF content, and vector-preserving exports are unsupported. Animated and multipage conversion is not supported. Photoshop exports are flattened. Files are limited to 512 MB and 100 megapixels; resizing preserves proportions. Artwork rendering has a 10,000-pixel edge limit and defaults to 2400 pixels.
